Rotorua Stories cinema experience, Rotorua Museum of Art and History
Rotorua Stories (1999) is a motion-control seating and special effects film experience in the Rotorua Museum of Art and History. It brings together the mythical, historical and geological narratives of the area, and culminates in a recreation of the disastrous 1886 eruption of Mt Tarawera. In 2004 Story Inc worked with award-winning visual effects company Oktobor Interactive to update special effects and audio tracks.
