The Lord of the Rings Motion Picture Trilogy: The Exhibition
JRR Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings is the world’s largest-selling work of fiction. Sir Peter Jackson’s film trilogy is the biggest single project in motion picture history. Story Inc created the international touring exhibition taking visitors on the moviemakers’ journey to create these modern classics.
Opened in 2002 at Te Papa by Prime Minister Helen Clark, the exhibition toured to Sydney, London, Boston, and Singapore with over two million visitors.
