BOOM! The Governor-General Opens Te Ahu

On 28 April in Kaitaia, the Governor-General, Lt Gen Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae fired an antique Coehorn mortar to officially open Story Inc’s latest and most collaborative project, Te Ahu. It was exactly 172 years to the day since the Treaty of Waitangi was signed by the chiefs of the Far North iwi, on the same spot.
